Jenny Houghton (1976-2015) was a fine artist best known for her nature scenes depicted across the American Heartlands. Her artwork, which featured farmlands, waterways, and various state parks, told a tale of America’s beauty often overlooked. Jennifer’s own private collection of oil canvases and watercolors are showcased at the Green Country Gallery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Previously, Jenny worked as a Creative Resource Artist for Jostens Yearbook Company and Carpentree. She briefly did freelance work for Avon, Hobby Lobby, and spearheaded product development for Mel Gibson’s, The Passion of The Christ.
Jenny was a member of the Oil Painters of America, and has been a past jury for the Salon International, inspiring today’s hairdressers, as well as the Richard Schmid Fine Art Auction.
Jenny held a BFA from Pensacola Christian College.
